Ribbon cuttings are going on all over the Greater Rochester Area. All sorts of different businesses are opening their doors, greeting customers, and adding value to the community. By no means is this a complete list; however Rochester Media and The Community Edge had a chance to visit a few recently. All are fully open and ready for you to visit.

Tim Hortons on Crooks Road

Owners, Ravinder and Anita Saini, opened their first Tim Horton’s two years ago. That first location, on Rochester Road, was also in Rochester Hills. Their new Tim’s is on Crooks Road, between M59 and Hamlin Road.

Rush Antiques

Located on Main Street, Rush Antiques has small items such as China, lamps, and Roseville Pottery, as well as larger items including period furniture, mirrors, and chairs. The owners, Jere & Leana Rush, have a favorite piece, an original George III chest on chest, English, circa 1790. It has an original finish, original swan-neck pulls and bracket feet. “An Outstanding Eighteenth-Century piece,” said Leona Rush. While it’s one of their favorites, they’ll let it go for $9,500.00
